In 2000, VMZINC set five-year objectives to optimize its environmental performance, mobilizing major resources. This action continued over the 2006-2010 period with key objectives:

  • Diagnosis of risks resulting from past activities and launch of clean-up operations;
  • Implementation of energy efficiency plans on all sites;
